Shop Assistant- 1st Shift

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Pay Rate: Starting at $20+/hr. Based on experience

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team on 1st shift at our reputable client in Milwaukee. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a mechanical ability and experience using hand and power tools looking to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Required Skills:

• Good math skills, especially fractions and decimals
• Mechanical ability with experience using hand and electrical tools
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 16ths of an inch
• Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an excellent driving record
• Experience with forklift operation and overhead cranes is helpful
• Experience washing and bonding metal materials
• Previous work in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of welding and grinding practices

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or shop environment

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work outdoors occasionally when assisting with installations
• Ability to work with heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks
