This is not a desk job.

You'll spend much of your day on your feet, moving between the shipping area, receiving area, production floor, and office. Priorities can change quickly based on customer needs, incoming shipments, and production schedules.

The people who succeed here are the ones who:

✅ Stay positive when the day gets hectic

✅ Can shift priorities quickly without getting frustrated

✅ Enjoy staying busy and active throughout the day

✅ Communicate well with customers, drivers, and coworkers

✅ Take pride in helping customers and solving problems

✅ Show up ready to work with a sense of urgency

Many successful candidates come from retail, restaurant, hospitality, warehouse, or customer service backgrounds where multitasking and handling constant interruptions are part of the job.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Order Coordination

Coordinate customer jobs from order check-in through shipment. Review incoming orders, specifications, and requirements for accuracy. Identify missing information and work with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.

Customer Communication

Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries. Handle daily calls, emails, and order status requests professionally and promptly. Provide updates, answer questions, and help resolve concerns.

Receiving & Job Intake

Verify incoming customer material and documentation. Ensure material is properly identified, tagged, and routed correctly. Assist with maintaining accurate records and tracking jobs throughout the production process.

Shipping & Logistics

Coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure customer orders are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately and on time. Schedule freight, coordinate pickups, and communicate with carriers as needed.

Team Support

Work closely with shipping, production, and office personnel to help maintain workflow priorities and meet customer commitments. Be willing to jump in and assist wherever needed.

What Success Looks Like

• Customers receive timely, professional communication

• Orders move efficiently through the system

• Shipping documentation is accurate and complete

• Material is received, tracked, and routed correctly

• Problems are identified early and resolved quickly

• Team members can count on you to stay organized and responsive

Who You Are

You enjoy staying busy and being the person who keeps things moving. You're comfortable talking with customers, coordinating multiple tasks at once, and adapting when priorities change throughout the day.

You might come from:

• Retail management or retail customer service, especially during busy holiday seasons

• Restaurant, food service, or hospitality environments

• Shipping, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations

• Customer service, dispatching, scheduling, or order coordination roles

If you're someone who thrives when things get busy and enjoys helping customers while keeping operations organized, you'll likely do well here.

We're less concerned with industry experience than we are with attitude, urgency, communication skills, and the ability to stay organized under pressure.

What We're Looking For

• Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills

• Ability to work on your feet throughout the day in an industrial environment

• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and schedules

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Forklift/tow motor experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment with frequent movement between office and shop floor.

What We Offer

• $40,000–$50,000 depending on experience and room for growth

• Medical, dental, vision insurance

• 401(k) with company match

• Paid vacation + 10 paid holidays

• Uniforms provided

• RTA Commuter Advantage Program
