| 1 | Responsible for arranging loading of shipments, planning of layouts and shipping priorities. Ensure compliance with shipping specifications from the customer, including barcoding format, ship times, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), etc. Ensure accuracy of shipping records. | |||
| 2 | Supervision of team functions: assigning tasks to fork lift operators, releasing requirements in Plex, preparation of shipping labels and Bill of Lading documents. | |||
| 3 | Provide truck loading layout instructions to forklift drivers | |||
| 4 | Stage shipments to cover first three hours of the following shift insure shipping confirmation information is completed correctly prior to shipments | |||
| 5 | Train all new and existing shipping employees on essential job functions, including PLEX functions. And maintain training records | |||
| 6 | Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product delivery. Resolve problems concerning transportation carriers, logistics system or customer concerns. | |||
| 7 | Coordinate any expedite situations with customer, carrier, production and/or quality. | |||
| 8 | Approve time records and requests for time off for shipping employees. Control Overtime cost , and Insure all safety and department policies are followed | |||
| 9 | Resolve internal employee issues, concerns and complaints, Use Fuyao corrective action flow when policy is not followed or rules broken | |||
| 10 | Responsible for health and safety of employees | |||
| 11 | Participate in continuous improvement practices and that associates are involved by being included in improvements | |||
| 12 | Make sure all docks working properly and trucks are locked into dock. | |||
| 13 | Ensure employees have the equipment and tools to properly perform including PPE, fork lifts and propane tanks. | |||
| 14 | Insure all parts are scanned into staging lanes prior to shipment | |||
| 15 | Assign 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness, confirm tasks are competed daily | |||

| Job Requirements | Language | Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers. | ||
| Experience | 1 to 3 years logistics management experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. | |||
| Education | Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management or any related field | |||
| Physical Condition | The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) Visual acuity including, but not limited to: a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision.
