Job Description

Statewide Safety Systems is seeking a highly motivated individual, with shipping & receiving experience. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to perform all tasks efficiently. Assist shipping & receiving driver and customers by operating a forklift to load or unload products onto vehicles. Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Ideal candidate will have experience in time-management, organization, and MS Outlook. Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

The ideal candidates must meet the following expectations:

• Minimum 1-year warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required
• Basic computer software (Microsoft Excel, Work & Outlook) knowledge required
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to multi-task
• Time-Management

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of all products shipped and received
• Coordinate, verify and assist the Purchasing Department with damaged or missing items from shipment
• Prepare all orders to be shipped or delivered to customers or other branch locations
• Assist customers with loading or unloading products purchased or rental items being returned
• Create price tags to label all items received
• Assist the Store Manger with restocking items in the Retail Store
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment under all circumstances

Pay will be dependent on experience
