Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments.
• Manage and train a team of shipping and receiving staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in shipping and receiving.
