Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays (including the last Saturday of each month) as needed.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to oversee daily shipping activities and ensure products are accurately prepared, documented, and shipped on time. This role is responsible for coordinating outgoing shipments, receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory records, and supporting efficient warehouse operations while following all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer and math skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Willingness to work the last Saturday of each month and New Year's Eve
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package products for shipment according to customer orders
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, including part numbers, quantities, weights, and documentation
- Label, mark, and package shipments using appropriate materials
- Create shipping documentation, including postage, shipping labels, and Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) through customer portals
- Receive and record incoming inventory and report discrepancies
- Perform part marking before shipment
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
- Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and packaging materials
- Follow and update packaging and shipping work instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, forklifts, metal parts, oils, and other industrial conditions. Occasional travel between the Southwick and Westfield facilities may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 pounds as needed
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, climb stairs, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to read shipping documents and labels with or without corrective lenses

- Forklift Licensed
- ERP & MRP Systems
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
