Shipping and Receiving I (ControlTech Automation)

Who You’ll Work With
ControlTech Automation (CTA), part of Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, is a leading control panel integrator and fabricator based in St. Louis. We serve process, packaging, and utility industries nationwide. Our Shipping and Receiving team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth material flow for manufacturing projects, from incoming parts to outgoing shipments.

What You’ll Do
As a Shipping and Receiving I professional at CTA, you will be part of a foundational team ensuring accurate handling and processing of materials. Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying a strong understanding of Shipping and Receiving Standards

• Checking in received items, organizing them on job carts accurately

• Identifying errors on incoming orders with minimal assistance

• Utilizing basic computer skills to support daily operations

• Proficiently measuring parts and reading tape measures

• Directing questions and issues to Shipping and Receiving II or the Lead when needed

What You’ll Bring

• Consistent punctuality and dependable attendance for all scheduled shifts

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials

• Basic proficiency with computers and measurement tools

• Willingness to learn and follow shipping/receiving standards and procedures

• Ability to work professionally in alignment with company culture and policies
