Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - Irwin, PA

• Starting pay rate: $20 - $23/hr. - starting rate depends on prior experience

• Schedule: Monday thru Thursday, 5am - 3:30pm (overtime available)

• Once hired perm - employees are also subject to a yearly raise that typically ranges between $6,000 - $8,000 a year!

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join one of the leading manufacturers in the Irwin, PA area. In this position, you'll be an essential part of the team, managing the smooth flow of goods into and out of the facility, ensuring accurate inventory, proper documentation, and timely shipments—all while working a convenient 4-day schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Knowledge of packaging and processing to handle everything from preparing shipments to receiving stock.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and shipping software such as UPS, FedEx, or similar platforms.
• Strong stock control skills to verify invoices and manage inventory accurately.
• Solid order processing experience to ensure every shipment is correctly labeled and documented.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform loading/unloading tasks efficiently.
• Good computer skills for generating labels, checking pack slips, and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with freight companies, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace.

Nice to Have:

• Experience obtaining shipping quotes and arranging freight transportation.
• Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse safety training.
• Additional knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory software.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

Other Requirements:

• Prior experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.
