We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX, 77003. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our shipping and receiving operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling items.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments using our tracking systems.
Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and organization.
Ensure compliance with safety and shipping regulations.
Collaborate with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Proven experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
Basic math skills for inventory management.
