Shipping & Logistics Clerk – Immediate Openings (4 Positions)

Location: South Metro, MN

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Status: Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking 4 Shipping & Logistics Clerks to join a busy and growing logistics operation in the South Metro. This facility supports two primary divisions: a large building materials distribution center and a specialized fulfillment area servicing major retailers including Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, Menards, and Home Depot.

Available Shifts

1st Shift (2 Openings): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift (1 Opening): 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift (1 Opening): 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities

Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
Prepare shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and manifests
Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and warehouse teams
Verify inventory, order accuracy, and shipment contents
Utilize shipping software and ERP systems to manage logistics transactions
Schedule freight pickups and communicate shipment updates
Maintain shipping records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse
Support inventory control and cycle counting activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
Experience with StarShip, UPS, FedEx, or other shipping platforms is highly desired
ERP system experience is a plus
Forklift experience is required (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker, or other powered industrial equipment)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
