Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations and ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders. The Shipping Lead will coordinate shipping staff, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure compliance with safety standards, and work closely with warehouse and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily shipping activities and team members. 
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped accurately. 
• Coordinate carrier pickups and shipping schedules. 
• Monitor shipping performance and resolve shipment issues. 
• Maintain shipping records and documentation. 
• Train and mentor shipping personnel on procedures and safety practices. 
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards. 
• Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, and customer service departments to meet operational goals. 
• Any additional duties assigned by the warehouse management staff. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience. 
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 
• Familiarity with shipping software, inventory systems, and common carriers. 
• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. 
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
