Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to support our aerospace manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documentation, scheduling carriers, and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily outbound shipments and carrier pickups

Prepare and review shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, export paperwork)

Verify part numbers, quantities, and labeling accuracy

Process and track shipments using internal systems

Use Excel to manage shipment data and workflow

Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Customer Service, and Materials teams

Maintain organized, audit-ready shipping records

Support domestic and international shipments while following company and aerospace standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

3+ years of shipping, logistics, or manufacturing experience

Experience with shipping documentation and scheduling

Knowledge of export and customs documentation

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Aerospace or manufacturing experience

Experience with international shipping and compliance (ITAR, EAR)

Background in high-volume distribution or logistics operations

You should be proficient in:
