Job Title: Shipping Clerk / Yard Hand

Location: Ridgeway, SC area

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

* Monday - Friday

* 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM (1 opening)

* 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (1 opening)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Clerk to support shipping and yard operations. This role involves a combination of clerical duties and hands-on yard work, including loading and moving heavy equipment during the manufacturing and shipping process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an outdoor, industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and support daily shipping and receiving operations

* Perform yard hand duties including loading and unloading heavy equipment

* Assist with preparing equipment for shipment

* Operate equipment as needed to move materials safely within the yard

* Verify shipping documents, inventory, and outgoing loads for accuracy

* Maintain organization of the yard and shipping areas

* Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers

Requirements:

* Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or yard operations preferred

* Ability to safely handle and move heavy equipment

* Basic computer and documentation skills

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

* Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks

* Forklift or heavy equipment experience is a plus

Work Environment:

* Outdoor yard and industrial manufacturing setting

* Exposure to heavy machinery and varying weather conditions

* Physically demanding role with frequent standing, walking, and lifting

Dress Code:

* Steel toe boots required

* Industrial work attire required

* PPE provided as needed
