**Position Summary

**

We are seeking an experienced **Shipping Clerk 2nd

shift** for our client in Decatur, AL. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading company while building your long-term career.

The Shipping Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient shipment documentation handling, and quality control within a large team environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role leverages proprietary shipping software and general logistics platforms to maintain accuracy and timeliness in all shipping operations.

**Responsibilities

**

• Ensure shipments are palletized to meet delivery deadlines
• Handle all shipping documentation accurately
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained
• Perform data entry for shipping records
• Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in shipping and logistics
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift

**Requirements

**

• Experience with shipping large items
• Proficiency with shipping software
• Must be able to fill out BOL
• Must have a good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage.
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Copy, Scan, Take photos
• Utilize Shipping and Production Schedules to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of supply chain coordination
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
