Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Pay & Benefits: $20–$22/hr. Medical, dental & vision
Schedule & Location: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Workplace Environment: Traditional, family-owned manufacturing setting with a small, tight-knit team that’s respectful and hands-on. The work supports high-quality equipment used for corrosion testing and controlled dust environments. Dress code is jeans, T-shirt, steel toe boots, and safety glasses.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet drivers and coordinate pickups/deliveries with freight carriers
Load/unload trucks using a sit-down forklift; move materials safely on the floor
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
Verify receipts against purchase orders/packing slips; document in an in-house computer system
Pull and stage orders from pick tickets; package, wrap, and label pallets/skids
Generate shipping labels and packing slips for outbound shipments
Build pallets/skids as needed and maintain shipping supply inventory
Use basic hand tools and read a tape measure; lift up to 50 lbs
Must know how to read a tape measure up to 1/16" and 1/32" - will take a test
Required Qualifications:Reading a tape measure up to 1/16" and 1/32"
1–2 years of shipping & receiving / warehouse experience
Comfortable operating a sit-down forklift and working on your feet
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize/multi-task
