Job Summary:Load economy fryers, filter pans, pasta cookers and more onto truck trailers safely and accurately. Use equipment such as electric sit-down fork truck, electric pallet jack, and manual hand pallet jacks. Unload trailers from customers or suppliers and ensure pallets and parts get to their departments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate machinery such as electric sit-down fork truck and electric pallet jackEnsure product is loaded correctly, consistently and safelyBe able to identify non-conformances or discrepancies in product or packaging so it does not get loadedKeep accurate track of products bar code scans to ensure accurate shipping countsUnload product from customers or suppliers safely and efficiently- bring product or supplies to their destined departmentKeep loading dock clean and free of debris and clutter, sweep empty trailersWhen ahead on loading, assist with packaging of reworked fryers, load reworked fryersWhen ahead on loading, assist with customer supplied kit counting/organizingRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Highschool diploma or GED preferredFork truck experience preferredBasic computer skillsBasic math skillsPrevious shipping and receiving skills are a plusOrganization skillsSafely operate loading equipmentCompetencies:Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per weekShow up on time dailyBe available to work overtime when neededHave reliable transportationBe able to be on your feet/walk for eight to ten hours a dayWork in a busy/loud environmentPrepare for both cold and hot conditionsUnderstand and obey company rules and policies
