We are looking for a 1st shift, Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Your efforts will get materials to our customers just in time to install beautiful, durable, safe, and versatile surfaces for playgrounds, splash pads, fitness trails, jogging or walking paths, fitness centers, and other indoor and outdoor areas. Internally, we referrer to this role as Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
1st Shift Hours: Monday- Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
Core Contributions:
- Above all, prioritize your personal safety and the safety of your teammates. You are empowered to act and stop work if you see something unsafe.
- Operate a forklift to load orders of our indoor and outdoor recreational materials onto trucks, flatbeds, and containers.
- Work in a great team environment to pick and pack materials.
- Lift 55-pound bags for approximately 3 hours each day.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, process receipts, and document incoming shipments.
- Answer incoming calls and emails from our Customer Experience department, customers, and drivers.
Essential Experiences:
- High school diploma, GED, 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of forklift experience
- Lift up 55 lbs. throughout the day
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing demands, and work under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Proficiency in computer tasks (inventory, data entry, work orders)
- Experience with UPS and FedEx software preferred
