SHIPPING AND RECEIVING COORDINATOR

LOCATION: AMERICAN CALIBRATION – 

IN OFFICE – FOX RIVER GROVE, ILLINOIS. 

       FLSA STATUS: FULL-TIME - NON-EXEMPT


POSITION SUMMARY


Our multi-state calibration service business immediately needs a Shipping and Receiver.

American Calibration, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career with a growing company.

Our full-time position has a casual office environment available in a medium-sized B2B service provider. 

Work in a dedicated shipping office, with your desk at a comfortable temperature. This is not a job in a warehouse, outside, or near a dock.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Shipping/Receiving/Pick-Up/Delivery of customer equipment.

Process all shipments from beginning to end. 

Partner with other colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction. 

Communication and building relationships with customers and vendors.

Tracking and managing customer orders

Plus, more duties as delegated by management.

CORE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

 

High school degree and/or 1-2  years of experience in administration, shipping, and receiving. 

Self-leadership, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills

Confident in using Microsoft Office and learning new technologies. 


MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


Ability to stand for extended periods and sit as needed to perform job duties.

Frequent use of a computer, including alpha/numeric keyboarding.

Ability to operate standard office and/or job-related equipment.

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance (cart, 2-wheeler, or another human).

Ability to reach, grasp, balance, and perform repetitive motions as required.

Ability to bend, crouch, and lift items from the floor to overhead using proper technique.

 

WORK SCHEDULE


This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week. 

This position is located in the office, not remote or hybrid. 

This position is non-exempt.
