The Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1 is an entry-level position responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations within the facility. This role processes inbound and outbound shipments, verifies documentation, and ensures materials are accurately received, staged, and shipped according to company procedures. Working under direct supervision, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1 supports inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and safe material handling while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Range: $20.01-$20.75/hr
Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips
Inspect incoming materials for visible damage and report discrepancies to supervision
Process outbound shipments by preparing documentation and staging materials for loading
Accurately enter shipping and receiving transactions into ERP or warehouse systems
Label and organize materials to maintain traceability and inventory accuracy
Assist in loading and unloading trucks in coordination with material handlers or forklift operators
Prepare basic shipping documentation including bills of lading and packing lists under supervision
Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas in accordance with 5S standards
Follow established procedures to segregate and report non-conforming or damaged goods
Communicate shipment status and discrepancies to supervisors or appropriate departments
Follow all safety procedures related to material handling and dock operations
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education: None
Experience: 0–2 years of warehouse, shipping, or clerical experience preferred.
Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and handling of packages or materials
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving equipment
Manual dexterity to handle paperwork and small components
Visual acuity to verify labels, counts, and shipping documentation.
