Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Shipping, Receiving & Forklift Driver for a local steel manufacturing company in Adel, GA. This role is responsible for supporting material flow throughout the operation by receiving, storing, transporting, and shipping materials while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating forklifts within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy.
• Store, organize, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move steel components and other materials.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records.
• Read and interpret shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to safely handle large steel components and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 7 AM - 5 PM

Full time, temp to hire position
