Shipping and Receiving Associate

A local manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for their Dexter location.

What you’ll be doing as a Shipping and Receiving Associate

• - Loading/Unloading trucks

- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products

- Picking and packaging outgoing materials and products for shipment

- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments

- Performing annual inventory counts

- Operating shipping software (SAP)

- Creating shipping labels

- Scheduling pick up and delivery

- Assist as needed to rectify damages. Shortages, and/or other inaccuracies of incoming material, supplies, or equipment

- Operating forklifts, cranes, and rigging

What you’ll need to succeed as a Shipping and Receiving Associate

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving with experience operating forklifts
• Experience using shipping software preferred
• HS diploma or equivalent

Additional information for the Shipping and Receiving Associate

• $20 to $25 hourly
• Monday-Thursday, 6am – 4:30pm, Overtime common on Fridays
