SHIFT SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Tifin, Ohio molding division.

JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for directing and supporting all supervisors, material handlers, and mold setters.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• 2nd Shift 3:00PM – 11:20PM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in injection molding
• A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience
• Must have the ability to manage projects and have strong organizational communication skills

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows the defined startup procedures as outlined by the Process Engineer
• Communicates issues with fellow Shift Superintendents/Shift Supervisors at shift change
• Ensures that all Quality Procedures are being followed
• Processes and verifies documentation at startup which includes filling out PV sheets
• Ensures that all process documentation is completed throughout the entire shift
• Evaluates machinery for capability and generate Work Orders for issues identified
• Manages and monitors IQMS – real time on production machines:
  • Full Cavitations
  • Cycle at Standard
  • Scrap review and reduction
• Provides and receives ongoing training and facilitate continues improvement activities
• Regular on-site attendance
