The Shift Supervisor Packaging plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the packaging operations within a manufacturing environment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production output. This position is responsible for leading a team of packaging operators, coordinating shift activities, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Shift Supervisor will monitor production schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and reduce downtime. They will also ensure that all packaging processes meet quality control standards and that safety protocols are strictly followed to protect team members and equipment. Physical Requirements:
• Bend to grasp objects and ability to climb ladders
• Bend and lift loads not to exceed 50 pounds unassisted or 100 pounds with assistance
• Work in very hot temperatures (>90 degrees F) seasonally
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to work in a noisy environment while being exposed to wheat flour and gluten.
