II. Job Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of production workers on the manufacturing floor. They will ensure that production processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and according to established quality standards. The Production Supervisor will supervise production staff, assign tasks, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet production targets. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations, and fostering a positive work culture. The Production Supervisor will work closely with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to coordinate activities and resolve issues. They will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
 
III. Job Functions and Duties

1Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the shop floor.
2Ensure that production processes are carried out efficiently and according to established standards.
3Assign tasks to production workers and ensure that they are completed on time.
4Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet production targets.
5Train new production workers and provide ongoing guidance and support to existing staff.
6Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols.
7Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
8Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
9Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
10Communicate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
11Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of materials.
12Implement quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.
13Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
14Implement productivity improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
15Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts as they arise.
16Conduct performance evaluations of production workers and provide feedback for improvement.
17Participate in meetings with management to provide updates on production activities and performance.
18Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for production processes.
19Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and new technologies.
20Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
21Manage production documentation and record-keeping.
22Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
IⅤ. Qualification
Job RequirementsLanguageLanguages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
 Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
Experience1 year manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
EducationHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Physical ConditionThe employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) 
 Visual acuity including, but not limited to: 
 a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
 b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
 c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
 d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
 e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. 
 The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position
 are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.

 FORKLIFT OPERATION (Certification Required) - Operates forklifts, as needed, to support Production.

V. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position

1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
Must be 18 years of age or older.
