SHIFT SUPERVISOR - Sterling Heights, MI.
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm - Overtime and weekends mandatory based on production schedule
Job Description of the Shift Supervisor :
Oversee all day-to-day operations of CER personnel and quality control operations. Manage a positive customer relation with all corporate employees. The ideal candidate selected for this position will:

Duties include but are not limited to standing, walking, twisting, bending, lifting, seeing, talking, and hearing the duration of the shift
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and drug screen and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team

Job Description of the Shift Supervisor :
Oversee all day-to-day operations of CER personnel and quality control operations. Manage a positive customer relation with all corporate employees. The ideal candidate selected for this position will:
- Must be willing to inspect parts as needed
- Check-in at the site on off shifts as needed
- Assist with new job set-up
- Coordinate and assess required training and team building
- Responsible for ensuring accountability and discipline
- Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team
- Communicate the overtime schedule to the work team
- Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
- Prepare all incident reports to include identification of root cause and corrective action
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook)
- Responsible for ensuring the team has the necessary tools and materials to properly perform their roles safely and efficiently
Required skills needed of the Shift Supervisor :
- High School Diploma/GED required, college coursework preferred
- Must be willing to travel to local locations within the Metro Detroit area and/or surrounding counties
- Must have a minimum of ONE YEAR automotive quality supervisory experience
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven leadership ability
- Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations
