Job Description

Aegis is partnered with a growing high-end print and packaging manufacturer that produces premium packaging, specialty print materials, and branded retail products for major consumer companies. This organization has experienced consistent year-over-year growth and continues to invest heavily in expansion, including a newly installed sheeter machine and additional production capabilities.

They are seeking a Sheeter Operator to support production operations within their press department. This role will focus on operating sheeter equipment, verifying production specifications, performing quality checks, and supporting smooth workflow within a fast-paced packaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sheeter equipment to cut paperboard materials to specification
• Read and interpret production tickets and work orders
• Verify proper grain direction and material specifications before production
• Run test sheets and inspect finished material for defects and quality issues
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make production adjustments as needed
• Retrieve and move paperboard materials using a clamp forklift
• Coordinate with production teams to maintain workflow and efficiency
• Maintain safe and organized work areas while following production procedures

Requirements:

• 3+ years manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience operating production equipment in manufacturing environments
• Forklift experience (clamp forklift preferred)
• Ability to read production documentation and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Experience:

• Sheeter equipment experience
• Paperboard, packaging, folding carton, or print manufacturing experience
• Pasaban sheeter experience
