Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate various tools and machinery, including shears, brakes, and welders.
• Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Document work processes and maintain accurate records of materials and time spent on projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in sheet metal work is a plus.
• Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
