Who are we looking for?

A highly motivated and driven self-starting Sheet Metal Fabricator who can work well in a team oriented atmosphere. The ideal candidate should have one or more years of experience in the fabrication of metals, reading blueprints and using a variety of hand and power tools. Qualified candidates must be able to read a standard tape measure to be successful in this role. Shift is 5:30am – 2:00pm at our Hartford location.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the fabrication of components, cut steel and or sheet metal according to the production schedule.  You will operate band and chop saws, grinders, drill press, iron worker, stud welder, plasma cutter, MIG welder using .035 wire and TIG welder to fabricate components. Measure and review and layout materials per the order spec. Inspect and examine work pieces to ensure quality of material meets the requirement of the customer.
