Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator | Part-Time or Full-Time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00hr (based on experience)

Location: Columbia, SC 29209

Schedule Options:

- Full-Time: 4x10 Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

- Part-Time: Flexible hours within shop hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Saturday work available

Job Duties:

- TIG weld thin-gauge stainless steel (including fittings and plates)

- sheet metal drain pans (up to 10 ft long, similar to gutters)

- Weld on caps and fittings as part of finished product assembly

- Perform MIG welding and other general metal fabrication as needed

- Operate sit-down forklift for material handling

- Run fabrication machinery to produce parts (from one-off jobs to large production runs)

- Assist with maintenance and repair of shop equipment (shears, lasers, press brake, turret press)

- Hydraulic and basic electrical repair experience is a plus

Requirements:

- TIG and MIG welding experience (no certification required)

- Ability to pass a weld test (fittings and plates)

- Machine operation and material handling experience preferred

- Own welding gloves and hood preferred (available if needed)

- Work boots required; long pants and long sleeves preferred but not mandatory

- Must pass a 5-panel drug screen

- No background check required

- No benefits (part-time position)
