Machine Operator

F3 Metalworx is hiring developing and experienced Sheet Metal CNC Machine Operators for our Erie and North East, PA teams. First- and second-shift opportunities are available.

New hires in our Machine Operator roles are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Posted pay is $16.50–$24.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience, skills, shift differentials, and applicable incentives.

Experience operating any one of the following is sufficient: a CNC laser, CNC punch press, or press brake. You do not need experience on all three. Setup, tooling changes, and programming experience are advantages, not requirements for every operator opening.

We welcome developing operators and are open to training the right candidates. Bring your relevant hands-on experience, basic blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant hands-on experience operating a CNC laser, CNC punch press, or press brake. Experience on any one is sufficient. One year of experience is preferred; developing operators with relevant foundational skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• CNC programming experience (Trumpf, Amada, Accupress, Cincinnati, Bystronic, or similar) is a PLUS!
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• For developing candidates- eagerness to learn and a keen eye for detail
• For more senior/experienced candidates - willingness to train and mentor junior operators as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to shape sheet metal parts to spec
• Perform in-process quality checks to maintain tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support a safe, organized shop floor as a CNC Machine Operator
• Maintain accurate parts and motivation for routine repetitive jobs
• Communicate production-related items to next shift operators or supervisors
