Job Summary:

The Single Needle Sewing Operator is responsible for accurately centering and sewing the back size label onto garments using a single-needle sewing machine. The operator ensures each garment meets quality standards and is properly prepared for packing and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a single-needle sewing machine safely and efficiently.
• Center the back size label on each garment according to company specifications.
• Sew size labels securely with clean, consistent stitching.
• Inspect garments to ensure proper label placement and stitch quality.
• Remove loose threads and identify any defects before forwarding garments.
• Maintain production speed while meeting quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Prepare completed garments for the packing and shipping department.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a single-needle sewing machine preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to meet daily production goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
