About the Opportunity

A well-established packaging manufacturer in Feasterville, PA is seeking a Press Setup Technician to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working with industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Press Setup Technician is responsible for preparing flexographic printing presses for production by completing machine setups, performing changeovers, making adjustments, and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production quality and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare flexographic printing presses for production runs.
• Perform tooling, plate, cylinder, and ink changeovers according to production schedules.
• Make mechanical adjustments to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and producing quality products.
• Troubleshoot setup and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Verify machine settings, materials, and components before production begins.
• Assist press operators during production as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete setup documentation and production records accurately.
• Follow all quality, safety, and company operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine setup, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
