Job Posting Information – Assembly Set Up Tech  

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of changeovers and set-ups within the Assembly department. 
• Responsible for preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and assisting lead and supervisor as needed. 
• Required to perform and document machinery preventive maintenance based on maintenance schedule. 
• Perform inspection procedures using precision measuring instruments and apply document principles of statistical process control (SPC). 
• Use and confirm proper operation of all safety devices and procedures. 
• Complete work orders and department related paperwork. 
• All other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate assembly equipment as well as learn and master the ability to complete changeovers. 
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance checks, provide accurate documentation, maintain tooling, and perform quality checks. 
• Must be able to make sound decisions with regards to machine set ups and changeovers. 
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, quality, and other related documents and instructions.
