The Services Specialist - Field Svc Ops - UC is responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding Baker Hughes' oilfield chemical business within the assigned territory. This role combines technical expertise, business development, and customer relationship management to identify opportunities, deliver value-driven solutions, and support customers throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle. Working closely with customers, operations teams, and commercial stakeholders, the position plays a key role in achieving revenue objectives while ensuring successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.

As a Services Specialist - Field Svc Ops - UC, you will be responsible for:

Developing and growing the oilfield chemical business within the assigned territory through strategic customer engagement and market development initiatives.
Identifying new customer opportunities and expanding relationships with existing customers to drive sustainable business growth.
Generating sales revenue and achieving business targets through effective opportunity management and commercial execution.
Conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions with customers and industry stakeholders.
Coordinating field trials, product evaluations, and implementation activities to demonstrate product effectiveness and customer value.
Preparing commercial proposals, quotations, and technical recommendations tailored to customer requirements.
Managing customer relationships, contracts, and commercial agreements to ensure long-term partnership success.
Collaborating with operations, technical, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions that address customer challenges.
Supporting tender submissions, bidding activities, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
Monitoring market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities and business strategies.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the Oil & Gas production industry.
Demonstrate experience working with upstream oilfield operations in sales and operational roles.
Have established relationships with Oil & Gas operators, service companies, and EPC contractors; this is preferred.
Possess the ability to identify customer challenges and develop effective technical and commercial solutions.
Demonstrate experience in recommending products, conducting technical presentations, and communicating value propositions to customers.
Have experience supporting field trials, product evaluations, and performance assessments.
Possess strong B2B sales experience with a proven track record of achieving commercial objectives.
Demonstrate expertise in business development, lead generation, and opportunity qualification.
Have experience managing key customer accounts and developing long-term customer relationships.
Possess knowledge of contract negotiation, tender processes, bidding activities, and commercial proposal development.
Demonstrate understanding of pricing strategies and margin management principles.
Have excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrate strong negotiation, influence, and closing capabilities.
Possess a customer-centric mindset with excellent relationship management skills.
Be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
