Job Overview:

Hybrid role: HVAC Technician AND Dispatcher (remote & field)

Field Technician: Perform skilled mechanical duties in the startup, repairs, installation, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of HVAC equipment.

**Remote Dispatcher: **Coordinate and schedule HVAC service technicians efficiently, managing customer requests, prioritizing urgent issues, and ensuring timely service delivery while maintaining clear communication between customers and field teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On site startup technician for various manufactures
  • Troubleshoot installation of control systems including working on Daikin, Aaeon, LG HVAC systems
  • Solving issues using reasoning and logic
  • Communication with individuals who installed the system
  • Programming of new control system using touchscreens and computers
  • Documentation of actions taken on the job site on service reports  Understanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshooting
  • Completing all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warranty
  • Perform other duties and assignments.
  • Maintain regular good attendance

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Standard practices of the HVAC trade.
  • Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Computer Usage: Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs
  • Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Brazing and soldering techniques.
  • Health and safety regulations.
  • Basic record-keeping techniques.
  • Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
  • Two years of HVAC training program

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid California License
  • Active EPA Universal Technician Certification

Compensation:
