Job Summary:

Seagrave Fire Apparatus, LLC is looking to hire an experienced Service Tech to work first shift at our South Carolina location. This person will perform the service and repairs of all systems found on fire apparatus and equipment including but not limited to; mechanical and electrical controls, air brake systems, transmissions, high voltage generators, pneumatic systems, drive trains, high pressure water pumps, hydraulics, heating & cooling, steering and suspension, and exhaust systems. This person should have thorough knowledge of schematics, prints, and heavy duty automotive electrical systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Assemble & repair mechanical, trim, and finishing parts/components.
• Assemble, test, & repair complex mechanical systems (such as axles, engines, etc.)
• Assemble, test, & repair major vehicle parts/components of cabin, body, chassis, & aerial.
• Program, set up, test, inspect, troubleshoot, & repair simple electrical components and systems.
• Troubleshoot & repair electrical defects.
• Perform duties listed above under minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) – Preferred
• 1+ years Welding/Fabrication experience – Preferred
• Ability to provide tools required to perform all job functions - Required.

Pay for this position will be based on experience.
