**Service Technician
**
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will monitor mechanical testing performed on gasoline and diesel engines, record performance data, and assist with engine and transmission maintenance and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and is interested in learning advanced engine and transmission systems.
Monitor mechanical testing of gasoline and diesel engines.
Record and track test data using computer monitoring systems.
Perform maintenance and repairs on engines and transmissions.
Replace and repair components including belts, pulleys, gears, and related parts.
Assist with engine and transmission disassembly and potential reassembly.
Change engine oils, fluids, and lubricants as needed.
Utilize engine/motor mounts and equipment to move and position engines safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous automotive, diesel, small engine, or industrial mechanical experience.
Mechanical aptitude and interest in engine systems required.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Comfortable working around engines, transmissions, and mechanical testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a shop or testing environment.
Pay: $20-23/hr
Hours:
Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday schedule
Day shift 11am-11pm
Night shift 11pm-11am
