Top Shelf Home Service is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing service departments. This isn't a position where you'll simply maintain the status quo—it's an opportunity to build the foundation for the future of a growing company.

Founded in 2018, Top Shelf Home Service has quickly expanded from an electrical company into a full-service residential home services provider. As we continue to grow, we're creating our very first Service Manager role to help elevate our operations, develop our technicians, and create systems that allow our team to reach its full potential.

What You'll Do

As our Service Manager, you'll oversee approximately eight field technicians across our Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing divisions while helping shape the future of our service operation.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading, coaching, and developing technicians to improve performance and customer experience

Building structure, accountability, and consistency across all three trades

Monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs)

Coaching technicians on sales techniques, communication, and customer education

Conducting ride-alongs, performance reviews, and regular team meetings

Working closely with ownership to improve systems and operational efficiency

Helping establish processes and best practices as the department continues to grow

Supporting scheduling, workflow, and overall service operations

Maintaining an exceptional customer experience and strong online reputation

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who brings both leadership and a passion for helping others succeed.

Qualifications:

2-5+ years of leadership experience within the residential home services industry

Experience managing or leading Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing service teams

Strong understanding of KPIs, service metrics, and operational performance

Proven ability to coach technicians and improve sales performance

Experience building processes, accountability, and team culture

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment

ServiceTitan experience is highly preferred

Technical experience in one or more of the skilled trades is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: $90,000-$110,000+ based on experience (exceptional candidates may receive higher consideration)
