Our client is seeking a skilled Senior TIG Welder for a manufacturing company located in Mentor, Ohio. This role is responsible for supporting daily production operations through high-quality TIG welding on sheet metal, accurate material handling, and maintaining precise inventory control. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, maintaining production flow, and assisting with organizing and supporting departmental production activities.
Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on sheet metal components to meet company quality and production standards.
Operate machinery and welding equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Inspect finished and in-process products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
Move raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods manually or with pallet jacks.
Count and verify completed products to confirm production orders are accurate.
Mark, label, and tag parts and materials for proper identification and traceability.
Monitor and verify product movement from WIP to finished goods using the company ERP system.
Stage and organize products based on production schedules and completion levels.
Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies within the production area.
Support production leadership in organizing workflow and maintaining efficient department operations.
Qualifications:
Experience & Technical Skills:
Minimum 5 years of TIG welding experience, specifically working with sheet metal.
At least 2 years of experience supporting or assisting in leading a production team within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, quality standards, and safe work practices.
Computer Skills:
Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
Experience using ERP systems for inventory tracking and production reporting is preferred.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product conversion principles.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and assist in delegating tasks when needed.
