Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a
Senior Tooling Integration Engineer to join our team in
King of Prussia, PA!
As a Tooling Integration Engineer, we are seeking a candidate with experience in coordinating planning, risk and cost management, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
We are seeking a subject matter expert who can coordinate activities with Engineering and fabricators to resolve project prioritization conflicts and ensure schedules are met.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work closely with multiple program leaders and coordinate multiple engineering groups to the best, unified solution that meets the overall system performance requirements, cost, and schedule needs.
• Manage the creation and execution of tooling production orders.
• Partner with internal and external teams cross-functionally to facilitate requests for proposals (RFP) and assist with negotiated bid packages.
• Manage a network of fabrication facilities, both internal and external, and coordinate work packages to best outcome.
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), technical specifications, tooling structures, tool drawings, and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance to established company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Provide project visibility to leadership and support teams.
• Coordinate changes with engineering, quality, supports manufacturing, internal and external suppliers, and others.
• Communicate with suppliers, engineering team, and leadership on a regular basis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and provide strategies, resolve issues, integrate with external partners, suppliers, and vendors.
• Support ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with project management.
• Ability to support extended shifts and weekends contingent upon business needs.
• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired skills
• Experience with project management lifecycle steps.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with tooling design, tooling fabrication, and tooling procurement.
• 3+ years’ experience in a tool fabrication and/or estimating role.
• Drawing and/or CAD exposure and/or training to facilitate drawing and model reviews.
• Experience in Project Execution or Program Management (or similar role), supporting program activities including budget planning, cost analysis, proposal development, schedule management, and risk and opportunity management.
• Experience in analyzing and accessing project decisions based on schedule, cost, or technical impacts
• Ability to compile, prepare, and present information to leadership and customers, and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines.
• Understanding supply chain and supplier management processes.
• Understanding of engineering principles and processes.
• Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking.
• Experience with SAP.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
