Test Engineer General Summary

The candidate for this on-site position must be a competent hands-on engineer capable of developing automated test solutions for digital and mixed-signal semiconductors using LTX Fusion EX and Credence Quartet testers and a variety of bench instrumentation.  Candidate should be qualified of self-directing multiple simultaneous projects.

Test Engineer Responsibilities

  • Planned, developed, debugged, and released test programs/hardware on specified ATE (Automated Test Equipment) per specifications. 
  • Detailed electrical test requirements for test hardware – including loadboard circuit design, schematics, and bill-of-materials.
  • Coordinate PCB layout (Orcad) with the internal CAD PCB design team to apply best practices for optimum signal integrity.
  • Perform product characterization and bench analysis.
  • Work cross-functionally with all Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations groups.
  • Occasionally assist with product investigations such as Failure Analysis or RMAs.
