Job Description
The FBM program needs a Project-Engineering-focused professional who will plan, schedule, write, integrate, and control the lifecycle of all technical data product that support war-fighter operations, missile-system assembly, test, and maintenance. The incumbent will act as the project engineer for data products, ensuring they are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the required quality and security standards while synchronizing with operations, production, logistics, and government partners.
Summary of key responsibilities for this position:
· Develop and own the master schedule for all data product streams (OPs, ODs, SWOPs, work instructions, other data packages) and integrate it with overall data products schedules.
· Track and control program funding (MIPR, DSO, cost-accounting) for the data package effort, providing variance reports to the Associate Manager.
· Manage configuration control of all manuals, data products, and special-weapon procedures, ensuring changes are captured, baselined, and released on multiple SSP repositories.
· Ensure compliance with all security, classification, and export-control requirements (CUI, NISPOM, COMSEC) during creation, review, and distribution of classified documents.
· Drive continuous-improvement initiatives for promulgation processes, tooling (S1000D, MAP/IMPs, Apriso), and metrics (on-time delivery, defect density, rework).
· Lead the authoring effort for technical manuals and work-instructions, defining content scope, allocating SME resources, and integrating the write-up work-stream into the overall data-product schedule
· Provide production-support coordination and long range planning for the SWS Facility, translating schedule changes into data product updates and ensuring the shop floor receives current, approved data.
· Facilitate technical reviews and approvals (final product reviews) and prepare briefing packages for senior leadership and Navy customers as required.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.
· Prior project planning experience: proposal, cost modeling, or long-range.
· Experience writing, handling, organizing, and coordinating documentation/data
· Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and PDF editing tools
· Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for a security clearance
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
· Ability to travel occasionally

· Working Knowledge of FBM/Reentry systems documentation (e.g. ODs, SWOPs, etc.)
· Strong Software background
· Knowledge of XML and basic structured markup languages
· Ability to review/assess compliance with requirements
· Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
· Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
