The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, cross-functional leadership experience, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics in a manufacturing or aftermarket service environment, and experience in system deployments. The primary responsibility includes leading a team accountable for purchase order creation and management for the aftermarket business. Success in this role is measured by support for growth and achievement of world-class, on-time delivery objectives.

How you will do it

  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD), cycle time, and planner efficiency.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning and expediting accuracy and responsiveness.

  • Develop and maintain reports, providing requirements for dashboards to ensure visibility into performance and areas of opportunity.

  • Analyze and evaluate inventory and delivery problems, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Facilitate strong interfaces between procurement, customer service, and suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery and accurate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs).

  • Collaborate with internal and external supply bases to ensure adherence to supply plans and maintain vendor OTD goals.

  • Take ownership of past due purchase orders and backorders, providing supply recovery guidance to commercial partners.

  • Guide the implementation of supply planning processes, leading communication and reporting of supply chain operational readiness to executive management to drive consensus.

  • Ensure effective and efficient adherence to global processes and standard work.

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of ERP and advanced planning systems to manage planning activities and support system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives related to planning.

  • Lead the development and management of the North America Parts Planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with sales, service, engineering, and product management to align forecasts with business objectives.

  • Drive resolution of goods receipt discrepancies.

  • Support cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation efforts.

  • Ensure inventory strategies support customer service goals while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

What we look for
