The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, tests, defect analysis, trend analysis, programming & troubleshooting inspection equipment, calibration maintenance, and reporting on results of measurement standards as well as ensures consistent quality of suppliers and production by validating processes.
This position is part of the Quality Assurance department and will be an onsite position that can be located in Cortland, NY, Deland, FL, or New Port Richey, FL
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be responsible for the overall PPAP qualifications, translations, and First Article Inspections, connecting with strategic sourcing, engineering, supply chain and quality for fully implementation of the NPI and new parts development.
Be responsible for the Supplier Capability assessment, driving the supplier selection and supplier capacity analysis.
Collaborate with Global NPD, strategic sourcing, and engineering to achieve and develop supplier product quality CTQ`s and delivery targets.
Lead QARA supplier system (Windchill) for driving supplier engagement and communications for Improvement Programs.
Responsible for 3rd party suppliers’ development and audits, driving full spec compliance.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100, AS13100, IEC and other ISO standards.
Detailed knowledge in PPAP, APQP and Digital Management Systems.
Proficient in software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Minitab, etc.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Aviation, automotive and high-volume industries a plus.
This position in New Port Richey, FL requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. US citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
The salary range for this role is 75K-115K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
