This Senior Supervisor role leads operations for the Thin and Thick Film area within the Advanced Product Center (APC). This organization is responsible for producing substrates used across the entire APC product portfolio and is critical to the performance, yield, and reliability of Radio Frequency Microelectronics.

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for Thin and Thick Film manufacturing areas supporting the Advanced Product Center and RF Microelectronics

  • Lead a team of Technical Support and Production employees; set performance expectations, ensure accountability, and drive a high‑performing team culture

  • Establish and execute daily operational and production objectives aligned with factory goals, cost targets, and delivery commitments

  • Manage area-level labor and overhead budget elements, including overtime, staffing levels, and utilization

  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders across engineering, quality, planning, and facilities to ensure seamless factory execution

  • Champion operational discipline by ensuring compliance with all policies, work instructions, and safety standards

  • Drive sustained improvements in throughput, yield, and cycle time through effective use of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Provide input into hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and recognition decisions for direct reports

  • Lead work scheduling, resource prioritization, coaching, and process execution to maintain predictable, reliable workflow across the factory

  • Increase team capability by developing employees, improving skills, and strengthening operator and technician proficiency

  • Communicate operational status, challenges, and escalations to leadership and partnering organizations

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, wafer fabrication, and/or other advanced manufacturing environments.

  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement experience

  • Demonstrated success leading or supporting production teams in a factory environment

  • Strong safety mindset and experience driving a culture of safe operations

  • Familiarity with military, aerospace, or industry manufacturing specifications

  • Experience in wafer fabrication, microelectronics, or high‑reliability component manufacturing

  • Proven ability to lead teams through change and drive measurable improvement

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
