As a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor, you’ll lead a team in an aerospace production environment. You’ll coordinate operations involving assemblers, inspectors and technicians to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You Will Do:
Lead a production team by setting clear expectations, allocating resources, removing roadblocks, and coaching for performance.
Drive compliance to production schedules and plant metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Takt Time, and customer requirements.
Analyze data to optimize workflows, staffing levels, and resource planning for maximum efficiency.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies.
Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and identify opportunities for improvement with action-driven follow-up.
Partner cross-functionally to assess inventory needs, staffing adjustments, and operational planning within budget and time constraints.
Maintain and promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with EHS policies and standards.
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on productivity, quality, and team performance.
Support training programs to develop employee skills and build flexibility across manufacturing areas.
Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
Address employee issues/concerns and motivate the workforce to achieve department goals.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Manufacturing experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, tools, and quality control.
Experience with continuous improvement tools and lean manufacturing principles.
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and production data.
