Senior Superintendent – Contract Position – Data Center / Large-Scale Construction Project

Location: Texas

Pay: $70–$110 per hour, depending on experience

Per Diem: $65–$120 per day, subject to eligibility

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Minimum 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field execution on a major construction project in Texas. This is a contract opportunity suited to a senior site leader with a proven background managing complex construction projects across data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, commercial, or large-scale construction environments.

The successful candidate will take ownership of field operations, subcontractor performance, site logistics, safety, schedule execution, and quality delivery while working closely with project leadership and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations across multiple trades and subcontractor teams.

• Manage site logistics, construction sequencing, manpower planning, and field coordination.

• Oversee Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field staff.

• Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.

• Drive progress against the master schedule and identify potential delays or constructability issues.

• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings, progress meetings, site walks, and safety discussions.

• Ensure work is delivered in line with safety requirements, quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, MEP teams, commissioning teams, vendors, and client representatives.

• Support inspections, punch lists, turnover, closeout, and final handover activities.

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to field teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, data center, mission-critical, healthcare, or complex construction projects.

• Strong background managing multi-trade field operations and subcontractor performance.

• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, safety, quality, and schedule management.

• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools is advantageous.

• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

• Ability to work on-site in Texas for the duration of the contract.
