The Senior Strategic Project Scheduler plays a critical role in helping Korber win and successfully execute large-scale automation and material handling projects valued upwards of $100M+. Reporting to the SIOP Manager and supporting the Program Management organization, this position partners closely with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation, and Executive Leadership to develop competitive, executable schedules during the proposal phase and maintain integrated project schedules throughout execution. This role serves as a trusted advisor on schedule strategy, project timing, resource constraints, and execution alternatives. This role also contributes to the delivery of strategic initiatives.

Your role in our team

• Develop and maintain integrated proposal and project schedules for large-scale automation and material handling projects valued at up to and exceeding $100M using Microsoft Project, Jira, and other required tools
• Partner with Sales and Program Management to develop competitive, executable customer-facing schedules aligned with project objectives and customer requirements
• Lead schedule risk reviews and health assessments, identifying critical path activities, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery risks
• Challenge cross-functional assumptions across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Installation and recommend alternative execution strategies to address project requirements and constraints
• Perform scenario and what-if analyses to evaluate execution strategies, optimize schedules, and improve proposal competitiveness
• Develop recovery schedules, mitigation plans, and corrective actions to address identified delays and schedule risks
• Manage six to ten concurrent proposals and active project schedules, ensuring coordination across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation activities
• Support scheduling standards, KPI reporting, resource planning, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement initiatives through clear, actionable schedule information

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field, with 5–7 years of relevant project scheduling experience required; 10+ years strongly preferred
• Proven experience developing proposal and execution schedules for large-scale, technically complex projects, preferably in material handling, automation, construction, oil and gas, or related industries
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including complex, resource-loaded, logic-driven integrated schedules; familiarity with Jira, ERP, and project management systems is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of planning and scheduling principles, including critical path methodology, schedule baselining, progress measurement, forecasting, schedule control, earned value, and project lifecycle governance
• Experience with change and risk management, scenario planning, what-if analysis, schedule optimization, and time-impact analysis to evaluate and improve execution strategies
• Working knowledge of material handling systems, mechanical installations, or construction scheduling, with the ability to perform effectively in high-demand, fast-paced customer environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, including influencing project outcomes and presenting schedule status, risks, alternatives, and recommendations to technical teams, stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership; proficiency in Microsoft Office required. PMP or PMI-SP certification is a plus
