Senior Solutions Sales Consultant
Fully Remote: Northern California Based
Expected Compensation: ~$150,000 (Base $70K–$77K + Commission, Bonuses, Incentives)
A leading provider of digital technology and business solutions is seeking a Senior Solutions Sales Consultant to support enterprise and mid-market clients across multiple regions. This organization specializes in equipment, digital displays, document security, and software solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance information security.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on consulting, solution design, and driving revenue growth through professional services and workflow automation offerings. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical acumen, sales strategy, and executive-level communication skills.
Role Overview
The Senior Solutions Sales Consultant acts as a strategic overlay to the sales organization, supporting revenue growth by identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and closing complex deals. This individual will partner closely with sales leadership and account executives to deliver tailored solutions that align with client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategy and sales of professional services solutions to meet revenue targets
- Conduct pre-sales activities including discovery, solution design, and client demonstrations
- Translate client business needs into technical and service-based solutions
- Develop deliverables such as solution configurations, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and Statements of Service (SOS)
- Support and respond to RFPs and proposal development
- Manage renewals and SaaS subscription lifecycles
- Maintain and advance a solutions pipeline to close new business
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical teams, and leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in solutions sales, consulting, or professional services
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts and sales cycles
- Strong background in IT, document lifecycle management, or workflow automation solutions
- Experience with IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise software environments
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including C-level engagement
- Strong business acumen and technical writing capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license
