Job Overview:

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to support our fast-growing Voice (MSS) division. This role will oversee an outside sales team and manage the territory of North Carolina.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


  • Leading and developing high-performing sales teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and strategic direction.
  • Facilitating organizational success by establishing strategic direction, developing sales plans, setting performance expectations, and ensuring alignment across multiple teams and territories.
  • Coaching and mentoring Sales Managers and Account Executives through regular one-on-one meetings, field visits, business reviews, and development planning.
  • Driving revenue growth through effective pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and execution of strategic sales initiatives.
  • Establishing and maintaining executive-level relationships with customers, partners, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Engaging with Regional Vice Presidents and executive leadership by providing timely communication, accurate forecasting, business analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  • Analyzing sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and improve results.
  • Leading succession planning and talent development initiatives to build a strong sales leadership pipeline.
  • Driving adoption of MCA sales processes, CRM utilization, and sales best practices across the organization.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • 10+ years of successful sales experience, with 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Experience leading sales teams and developing high-performing sales professionals while being a positive influence on other sales managers.
  • Experience in sales or sales management in the Two-Way Radio/Land Mobile Radio field is highly preferred.
  • High integrity and service-minded focus on team members and customers.
  • High energy – strong work ethic and action-oriented.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Strong business acumen, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience developing, coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales leaders and sales professionals.
  • Ability to embrace and lead change while driving organizational effectiveness.
  • Marketing experience and product/industry knowledge a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
